Zoelys Kythera, nicknamed Zoe, is a half-elf spell thief. She is played by ysa.

Raised in one of High Petramere's lesser quarters, Zoelys, has come to symbolize the darker side of the Great City. As a girl, her ability to root out hidden sorcery caught the attention of the notorious mageseekers, who eventually imprisoned her for turning those same powers against them. Having broken free, Zoelys led a band of outcast mages to rebel against Earl Padisah Alkyia in an event known as the Mage Rebellion.

Background

Early Life

Zoelys was born in High Petramere, where she developed magical abilities at a young age. As per the typical High Petramerian belief that magic was an affliction, Zoelys's parents convinced her to turn herself in to the mageseekers. The mageseekers took note of Zoelys's abilities to sense the magic within people, so they used her power to identify the mages within the city. But Zoelys began to notice the prominence of mages living their lives as civilians, having to live with being labeled as criminals by High Petramerian society, which caused her to doubt her standing within High Petramere.
