The Obsidian Isles are a fortified group of small islands, home to the greatest obsidian mines in Denionne. What was once a grand operation for harvesting a precious and valuable resource, is now left in shambles when there was a mysterious tragedy that killed 3,000 dragon born and dwarf workers, and also caving in near every mine on the isles besides one. The cousin house to the Fyreborn, known as house Zerter, has overseen the operation and lorded over the lands since it was established and continue to make efforts to repair the once great isles that have stood for over 7 millennia.
